    Mirpur Azad Kashmir (Azadi Times): In a decisive move to ensure the purity of milk entering Mirpur, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Assistant Commissioner Sardar Abdul Qadir took stringent action by seizing milk vehicles from outside districts at the city’s entry points. This operation, conducted to prevent the contamination of milk, was carried out late last night.

    Assistant Commissioner Sardar Abdul Qadir, accompanied by Dr. Naeem Kallis and the staff of the Azad Kashmir Livestock Testing Lab, tested the milk samples using the Lactoscan machine of the Municipal Corporation. The late-night operation aimed to ensure that all milk entering the district met health and safety standards.

    Following the tests, Sardar Abdul Qadir instructed the drivers of the milk vehicles on the necessary steps to adhere to chemical adulteration and hygiene regulations. He emphasized that any vehicle found to be carrying contaminated milk would face strict legal action, including the registration of cases against the drivers.

    This proactive measure has been widely appreciated by political, social, and business circles in Mirpur. The community lauded the Assistant Commissioner’s efforts to protect public health by ensuring the quality of milk available in the market.
