Islamabad: Inflation rate has increased by 0.95 percent on a weekly basis in the country.
According to the data released by the Bureau of Statistics, the overall rate of inflation has been recorded at 30.62 percent on a weekly basis.
The Bureau of Statistics has released the weekly inflation report, according to which the prices of 20 items have increased during a week, the price of onion per kg has increased by 40 rupees 13 paisa during a week.
According to the statistics agency, the price of tomato per kg has increased by 41 rupees 11 paise, the price of 190 grams of tea has increased by 8 rupees 35 paise, the price of gram dal has increased by 81 paise, the price of dal mung has increased by 81 paise. There was an increase of one rupee while live chicken became expensive by one rupee 85 paise per kg.
Apart from this, soap, milk, curd, mutton, eggs and rice also became expensive.
According to the statistics agency report, the prices of 10 commodities fell during the recent week while 21 remained stable, domestic LPG cylinder became cheaper by Rs 119 63 paise
According to the Statistics Institute, the price of a 20 kg bag of flour in the country has decreased by Rs 48 55 paise, the price per kg has decreased by 64 paise in the recent week.
According to the Bureau of Statistics, the price of lentil and masoor has decreased by Rs. 5 per kg, the price of sugar, banana, garlic and potato has also decreased.
