Reduction in prices of petroleum products, how much levy was imposed?

The federal government has reduced the prices of petroleum products for the next 15 days.

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said that the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs 12 63 paise per litre, diesel price has been reduced by Rs 12 13 paise per liter and the price of light diesel has been reduced by Rs 10 78 paise per litre.

Apart from this, the price of kerosene was reduced by 10 rupees 19 paise per liter.

The levy on petrol has been fixed at Rs 32 42 paise per liter and the levy on diesel at Rs 12 58 paise per litre.

The levy on kerosene has been kept at Rs 15 per liter and the levy on light diesel oil at Rs 10 per litre.

The government has not imposed any sales tax on petrol, diesel, kerosene and light diesel oil.
