Muzaffarabad: Indian actress and dancer Rakhi Sawant has made headlines once again, but this time it’s for a love story that has crossed borders. Rakhi Sawant has arrived in Lahore, Pakistan, to marry Pakistani actor Dodi Khan, according to recent reports from Indian media outlets.

In an exclusive statement, Rakhi confirmed her arrival in Lahore, stating that she is here to collaborate with renowned Pakistani actress Hania Aamir. However, the main reason for her visit is a more personal one—her upcoming wedding to Dodi Khan, a popular Pakistani actor.

According to Rakhi, Dodi Khan proposed to her, and she gladly accepted his offer. “Dodi is my love, and we have a deep affection for each other,” she said, expressing her happiness. The couple, despite their cultural and geographical differences—she being from India and Dodi from Pakistan—are set to tie the knot, symbolizing a union of love beyond borders.

The news of this cross-border union is generating significant attention, especially in the context of the historical and political challenges that exist between India and Pakistan. Rakhi, who is no stranger to making bold moves in the public eye, shared a heartfelt video on her Instagram, where Dodi Khan can be seen asking her whether they should get married in India, Dubai, or another location. The video ends with Dodi’s sweet “Love You,” further igniting the excitement around their relationship.

In an earlier social media post, Rakhi had announced that she would be meeting Hania Aamir during her visit and invited her fans to welcome her at the Lahore airport. She also took the opportunity to challenge Pakistani dancers, including Nargis and Deedar, to a dance-off—adding a playful element to her visit.

A Marriage to Remember

According to Rakhi, their wedding will be held in Pakistan following Islamic traditions, while the reception will take place in India. She mentioned that after their wedding, the couple plans to embark on a honeymoon in Switzerland or the Netherlands before settling in Dubai to start their new life together.

This would be Rakhi Sawant’s third marriage. Her previous marriages to Adil Durrani and Ritesh Raj Singh ended in failure. Despite this, Rakhi remains optimistic about her future with Dodi Khan, whom she calls her “true love.”

Rakhi’s Message to India’s Prime Minister

While in Pakistan, Rakhi Sawant also addressed the ongoing TikTok ban in India. She directed a message to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that if the ban on the popular social media platform isn’t lifted, she might be forced to permanently relocate to Pakistan. Her remarks, though lighthearted, highlight the frustrations of many in India’s entertainment industry over the ban, which has significantly impacted content creators.
