(Former prime minister of Pakistan Imran Khan)

ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister of Pakistan and the Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has said that he did not go out to fight against his institutions and conveyed the message to the institutions that there is still time to save the nation from thieves:

“Even if you want to, you will not be able to stop it,” he said. That the nation is also mine and the police is also mine, I have come out for a purpose and that the imported government is unacceptable.

While Nawaz Sharif’s sons are out of the country, these are the people whose wealth increases when the rupee depreciates.

There was to be chaos in the evening, my nation had to stand in front of the police and Rangers. If the police had not carried out raids and shelling, the sea of people would have come in the same way.

Chairman PTI said that the message of the nation to the institutions is still time to save the country from these thieves.

He quoted the PPP co-chairman as saying that Asif Ali Zardari, while being president, told the US to save him and sent a message to the US through Hussain Haqqani, 2000 police officers have been deployed on the duty of the rally, 1500 police personnel have been deployed around the venue and 500 officers have been deployed inside the red zone. Strict security arrangements for the rally till Imran Khan’s parade ground.

Chairman PTI Imran Khan came from Shamsabad to the parade ground in the form of a rally for which the police made strict security arrangements. The police decided to make diversions at different places on Rawalpindi Murree Road. Many connecting roads from Rawalpindi Sixth Road to Islamabad remained closed. Alternative routes were provided to normal traffic on Murree Road.
