SRINAGAR – An important meeting of Jammu and Kashmir Hotelers Club was held under the leadership of Mushtaq Ahmad Chaya, in which satisfaction was expressed over the better tourism season in Jammu and Kashmir this year.
Azadi Times: Along with this, the problems faced by tourism-related institutions, especially hotels, restaurants and guesthouses were also discussed in the meeting. All the members and office bearers of the club participated in the meeting.
In the meeting, Mushtaq Chaya said that the lease period of hotels in valley tourist places, Gulmarg, Pahalgam, Sonamarg and other places is a long-standing problem which the Lt. Governor and other concerned officials are concerned about who have also assured to solve this issue, there is a need to implement this issue immediately so that the hotel owners get relief from mental anguish.
He said that the second major problem is the renovation and repair work of hotels, restaurants and guest houses, which has not been allowed for years, due to which the condition of the hotels has deteriorated.
Mushtaq Ahmad Chaya said that the government The single window system has been introduced, although it is a good system, but it still has many flaws that need to be removed.
He said that this year the tourist season in Jammu and Kashmir is very encouraging and there is a significant number of tourists visited the valley, which is the result of the efforts of the Department of Tourism and the LG administration, for which we thank them and hope that the work will continue in the future.
