According to Kashmir Media Service, Farooq Abdullah while talking to a delegation of party officials at his residence in Srinagar strongly condemned the Indian steps to destroy the industry and handicrafts, handicrafts and fruit industry through a planned conspiracy. He said that it seems that the Modi government is determined to make Kashmiris needy, which is a very worrisome and sad matter.
He said that on one hand, our constitutional and democratic rights have been taken away on the basis of intimidation, pressure and force, while on the other hand, efforts are being made to push the Kashmiri people into economic and economic misery. He said that the conditions in the occupied area are so serious that the industrialists here have reached the state of destitution while the non-local contractors favored by the Modi government are continuing to loot the natural resources of Jammu and Kashmir in a block-and-barred manner. Local contractors and businessmen have been made dependent on grains. Farooq Abdullah said that the Kashmiri people are not in a happy situation. From the statements, orders and announcements, it seems that everything is fine, but the situation on the ground is completely opposite and the fruits are reaching the markets in 7 to 10 days instead of 48 hours due to which Kashmiri farmers are facing huge losses. He said that a large number of Kashmiri youth have been pushed into the darkness of unemployment. Dr. Farooq Abdullah said that the only way to get rid of all the current challenges is unity and agreement. People need to be wary of those elements and opportunistic politicians who are bent on dividing the Kashmiri people on regional, religious and linguistic lines.
