Jammu: In June last year, Sub-Inspector (SI) of Police Farooq Ahmed Nazir was killed in Pulwama at the behest of the commander of the terrorist organization Al Badr sitting across the border.
The terrorists had called Nazir to his farm and killed him. The Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of the police, Awantipora, has included this prominently in two charge sheets filed against four terrorists, including two minors, involved in the murder on Tuesday. A charge sheet has been presented against two of these terrorists in the NIA court in Srinagar and against minors in the Juvenile Justice Board, Pulwama. All these four terrorist organizations belong to Al-Badr. One of these terrorists has been killed in an encounter with the security forces.
The terrorists killed by calling in the field
Along with this, it is being told that the police spokesperson said that on June 18, 2022, the terrorists had killed Police Sub Inspector Farooq Ahmed Nazir, who had come home on leave, in Sambura near Pampore in Pulwama district. The police had arrested three terrorists in this case. One of them is Awais Mushtaq Ganai and two others are minors. These three sacrificers live near the police sub-inspectors house. The fourth accused terrorist is Majid Nazir Ahmed Wani, who was killed in an encounter on June 21 in the Tujan area of Pulwama.
Police filed a charge sheet in the court
Along with this, SIU has presented the charge sheet against Owais Ganai and Nazir Wani in the NIA court in Srinagar. According to the police, the investigation has revealed that the four terrorists were in constant touch with the commanders of Al Badr sitting across the border.
He conspired to kill sub-inspector Farooq Ahmad Nazir only after receiving orders from across the border. The captured terrorists have accepted their involvement in the murder during interrogation. The SIU filed the charge sheet in court only after collecting all the necessary evidence against all the accused.
