Srinagar, October 2 (KMS) Ahead of Indian Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit to illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir on October 5, strict security arrangements have been made in Baramulla and high alert has been issued across the district. .
According to Kashmir Media Service, a heavy contingent of Indian paramilitary and police has been deployed in the area and vehicles and passengers are being searched at several places in the district. Dilbagh Singh, the chief of police in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, visited the district last week and chaired a meeting of civil and police officers to review security arrangements.
Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party is very active in the district especially in Sopore town for the first time and is continuously encouraging people to attend the rally of Indian Home Minister Amit Shah. It is noteworthy that Amit Shah on October 5. is scheduled to visit Baramulla and address a rally there.
