Action will be taken against these government employees of Jammu and Kashmir, instructions issued

Along with this, the Principal Commissioner of Income Tax, Srinagar has brought many such cases to the notice of State Chief Secretary Dr. Arun Kumar Mehta, where government employees have taken excessive income tax refunds after not being eligible.
It is being told in this matter that Principal Commissioner MP Singh has insisted on the intervention of the Chief Secretary in this matter. Clear instructions have been given to such government employees that strict action will be taken against them if they do not file their income tax returns for the financial years 2020, 2021, 2021, 2022 and 2022-2023 along with the fine by March 31. Along with this, he termed it as a serious matter and claimed that he has a list of all government employees who have flouted the rules to get more refunds.
