Today, the Anti-Narcotics Task Force got a big success in the campaign launched against drug trafficking.
The ANTF recovered about six quintals of husk from a truck on Samba-Mansar road and arrested a smuggler who has been identified as Angrez Singh.
Based on a tip-off, the ANTF had barricaded the Samba-Mansar road and during investigation recovered the consignment from the truck which was being transported from Kashmir to Gurdaspur Punjab by hiding it under the guise of apple crates. At the same time, further action has been started by registering a case against the accused.
