National General Secretary Tarun Chugh along with Union Minister Jual Oraon and BJP National Minister Rituraj Sinha reached Meghalaya for campaigning for Meghalaya Assembly elections and brainstormed about the state’s situation and election campaign. Rashtriya Janata Party’s National General Secretary Tarun Chugh has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s wave is going on in Meghalaya. The Bharatiya Janata Party is contesting all the seats in the assembly elections in this state for the first time. While there is a lot of enthusiasm among the party workers about this, there is a wave in favor of the BJP among the voters of Meghalaya. After this, Chugh said that for the first time after independence, the government has become so serious for the development of the states of Northeast India. Prime Minister Modi not only visited these states several times, but also took every step for their development. For decades after independence, the North Eastern states were neglected, deprived of development, due to which the region remained neglected. Prime Minister Shri Modi visited Meghalaya several times during his tenure, after which the people of Meghalaya have started considering themselves included in the mainstream. Anyway, when the government was formed at the center for the first time under the leadership of Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, a separate Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region was formed in 2001, taking the development of this region on priority. The Northeast was once known for unrest, but under the leadership of Modi ji, the states of the Northeast are now known for development. The talents here are making their mark. Modiji opened the box for the development of this area. The people here are understanding this very well and have taken a decision to extend immense support to the BJP in the upcoming elections.
