National General Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party Mr. Tarun Chugh said that BJP is giving priority to development along with peace in Jammu and Kashmir.
On the budget allocation of Rs 35581.33 crore for Jammu and Kashmir in the budget of the year 2023, he said that the government has given priority to the development of Jammu and Kashmir in this budget.
Chugh said in a statement that the Modi government has always kept in mind that there should be equal development of Jammu and Kashmir, for which the annual allocation has been increased by Rs 876.98 crore in the Union Budget this time.
As against the allocation of Rs 34,704 crore in the 2022-23 financial year, this budget has increased it to Rs 35,581 crore, reaffirming the Modi government’s commitment to ensure progress and development of the sector.
Mr. Chugh said that this budget will go a long way in expediting the development projects of Jammu and Kashmir
2 new hydro power projects have also been approved. Also will provide a new momentum in the field of economic and infrastructural development including employment for youth, middle class, women, backward and deprived sections for the development of Jammu and Kashmir
Mr. Chugh said that after the removal of Article 370, Jammu and Kashmir has got a new direction, today there is peace in Jammu and Kashmir and Jammu and Kashmir has become a tourism capital. Last year, maximum number of tourists reached Jammu and Kashmir in the history till date. This shows that a new saga of development is being written in Jammu and Kashmir.
Shri Chugh said that this budget will give a new impetus to the approach of inclusive development in the country. Every section of the society is happy with this budget and this budget will act as a policy maker to make the country a compelling economic force as well as a strong and emerging economies in the world.
