In the country where women are given the place of goddess, in the same country, when there is an increase in cases like rape every day, then many question marks arise on the society. Another such incident of rape which shames humanity has come to light, where a brother-in-law tried to rape a pregnant daughter-in-law. But when he could not succeed in this feat, he killed the pregnant woman.

According to sources, this incident is of Indu Chowk of Judicial area of Bilaspur. Where a brother-in-law wanted to rape his pregnant daughter-in-law named Satya under the influence of alcohol. But when Satya did not agree, he was murdered.

According to the information, the name of the husband of the deceased is Peter Singh who is handicapped with one leg and runs a cart to run the house. Peter went out of town on some work yesterday. At that time his pregnant wife was safe along with the rest of the family. The next day, when the family members did not find the pregnant Satya at home, they went to her room to find her, where they found Satya’s dead body in a bloody condition. After which the family members immediately informed the police.

The police started their proceedings as soon as they reached the spot. At first, the police found this case complicated, but later during interrogation, the police came to know that only one brother of Peter Singh, Prakash Singh, was at home during the time of the incident. Rest 3 were away from the city. The police noted Prakash Singh’s statements from different angles, in which they clearly came to know that he was lying. Later, after some strictness, Prakash Singh accepted his crime.

He told the police that Peter had left Singh’s house. No one was in the house for some time, taking advantage of which he (Prakash Singh) went to daughter-in-law Satya’s room. He was in an inebriated state and started forcing himself on her. When Satya did not agree, he hit Satya’s nose and head very hard in a drunken state. Before her screams could come out, Prakash Singh choked her mouth which resulted in her death. After the murder, accused Prakash came to his room and slept quietly. At present, the police have started their proceedings by registering the case. The accused Prakash Singh is still in police custody.
