According to sources, this incident came to light when Acting on their inputs, J&K Police busted and arrested 4 accused Rohingyas involved in human trafficking by procuring girls from Myanmar (Burma) and exploiting them in Kashmir. In this case, AGDP has informed DIG and SSP Jammu. On specific information raided Saath Bus Stand Jammu and detained 4 human traffickers including 5 minor girls.

Jammu Police has said that 4 smugglers including 2 women and 2 men and 5 victim girls were brought to India from Myanmar for 5-10 thousand and were to be sold in Kashmir for one lakh each. But due to the action of the police, now they have been busted. At present, all the accused are still in police custody and further investigation is going on against them. Meanwhile, the rescued victim Rohingya girls have been shifted to Child Protection Center Jammu.
