JAMMU: As the cases of theft are increasing in the princely state of Jammu and Kashmir, in the same way, the Jammu and Kashmir Police are seen tightening their noose on the thieves.
During its proceedings yesterday, the Jammu and Kashmir Police detained 6 thieves while solving theft cases. After rigorous interrogation, the thieves confessed to their crime, following which gold ornaments weighing about 10 tolas were recovered from them.
In this case, the SSP of District Police Samba, Benam Tosh told that the police have detained 6 thieves while solving 4 cases of theft. Gold ornaments and stolen goods worth lakhs of rupees have also been recovered from these thieves. Please tell us that along with Jammu, some thieves belong to other states of the country.
The thieves have been identified as Aman Sambyal r/o Dansala Mandi Samba Jammu, Mehboob Akhtar r/o Dodla Basohli Kathua Jammu, Rahul Ambadas Raut r/o Maharashtra, Mujeeb r/o Meerut (UP), Vikas Kumar r/o Punjab and Mani Lal r/o Punjab.
It is being told that in the last 1.5 months, District Police Samba has arrested about 45 vicious thieves while solving 22 cases of theft, and also recovered jewelry and other valuables worth lakhs from these accused. Presently all these accused are in police custody, now it has to be seen what new information the police can get from them.
