Srinagar, May 25, 2023 (Azadi Times) Jammu and Kashmir received rainfall on Thursday, bringing much-needed relief from the heat. The temperature in the region has also dipped, with Srinagar recording a maximum temperature of 22.5 degrees Celsius, which is 10 degrees below normal.
The rainfall has also led to waterlogging in some areas, but there have been no reports of any damage.
The Meteorological Department has forecast more rain in the coming days.

- Banihal: 9.2 mm
- Batote: 14.6 mm
- Katra: 4.8 mm
- Bhaderwah: 14.2 mm
The Meteorological Department has forecast more rain in the coming days:
- May 25-26: There is a possibility of intermittent rain, thunderstorm with strong wind at many places.
- May 27-29: Partly to generally cloudy sky.
The public is advised to take precautions against the rain and thunderstorm:
- People should avoid going out during heavy rain and thunderstorm.
