For your information, let us tell you that this news is from the Jammu division of Jammu and Kashmir, where in the past, the police thwarted a major attempt of cattle smuggling and foiled the intentions of the smugglers. For the past several days, the cases of cattle smuggling are increasing in Jammu, in such a situation, the Jammu and Kashmir Police has also taken the lead to stop such cases.

According to sources, in the past, the police prevented a major incident of cattle smuggling in the Sainik Colony area of Jammu. It is being told that 4 vehicles for cattle smuggling were parked in an empty plot of land in the area. Out of which a big trolley was also present. Last Thursday, the police got information about cattle smuggling in this plot, after which the police started its action. During the proceedings, the police found 4 vehicles on the spot. There was a big trolley in these vehicles on which about 14 dumb animals were loaded. The remaining three vehicles were standing near the trolley. During the investigation, the police noticed animal footprints on the small vehicles. Due to which it is being speculated that perhaps these animals have been brought here by small vehicles and then they have been loaded into trolleys for smuggling.

In this case, the Sainik Colony police said that when their team reached the vacant plot, there was no one there except vehicles. A shed was built inside that vacant plot, in which a place to keep animals was made. It has been revealed in the proceedings that this plot is in the name of a government teacher who has given it on rent. He says that he had given this plot on rent to a dairy. At present, the police have registered the case and further action has been expedited. Apart from this, the police have sent all the seized animals to a cow shelter in Nagrota. Now it has to be seen how long these cattle smugglers roaming freely like this will keep running away from the hands of the police.
