The youth of Jammu and Kashmir is slowly getting trapped in the dark world of drugs in such a way that neither he is worried about his future nor his present. In the past, where the police caught heroin worth crores from Kashmir, Jammu is also not lagging behind in this matter. Jammu’s district Samba has been in the news for the last several days regarding drugs. Due to which the Samba police is engaged day and night in cracking down on the drug peddlers.
In the past days, in the search operation, Samba police caught two women drug smugglers from Vijaypur area of Samba. About 200 grams of Chitta i.e. Heroin drug has been recovered from these women. It is being told that now drug traffickers are pushing the youth of Jammu and Kashmir into this black world by taking the help of women.
The names of both the arrested women are being told as Chanchlo and Sheema Devi. Chanchlo is a resident of Saror area of Jammu, while Sheema Devi is said to be from Nakodar area of Jalandhar city of Punjab. Let us inform that this success has been achieved by the team of SSP Benam Tosh of district Samba. Due to the plans of officers like SP Surinder Chowdhary, SDPO Priyanka Kumari and SHO Khajuria, some speed is being seen in the drug free Jammu campaign.
At present, the police have arrested the accused by taking the narcotics in their possession and further interrogation is going on.
