Jammu Kashmir: Curb on drugs, drug smuggler arrested

JAMMU: Drug addiction is increasing day by day in the princely state of Jammu and Kashmir.

In such a situation, the Jammu and Kashmir Police have adopted an aggressive attitude while tightening the noose on drugs.

For your information, let us tell you that this news is from the Kashmir division of Jammu and Kashmir, where in the past, police personnel detained another drug peddler while curbing drug abuse.

It is reported that the police detained a suspect during Naka checking and recovered narcotics from him.

Please tell me that this incident is from the Parrepora area. During Naka’s checking in this area, the police team caught a notorious drug smuggler and during his search recovered about 150 grams of charas from his possession.

The accused has been identified as Muhammad Ashraf Ghani s/o Ghulam Rasool Ghani r/o Reban.

Let us tell you that the police detained the drug smuggler and registered a case under the NDPS Act at Thana Dangiwacha.

The police have again requested the general public that if they get any information about drug peddlers or any social evils, they should immediately inform the police.
