After some time, due to Ravana’s behavior and bad deeds, the goddess became angry with him and expressed her desire to leave Sri Lanka. After this, when Lord Rama killed Ravana, he gave the task to Lord Hanuman to choose and establish his favorite place for the Goddess. On this the goddess chose Tulmula of Kashmir.
