Shri Manoj Sinha, Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of J&K inaugurated the new facilities at Jammu Club and congratulated all the members for the same. The Patron of Jammu Club, Lt. Governor inaugurated the restaurant in the presence of ADGP Jammu, Mukesh Singh, Divisional Commissioner and Vice President of the club, Ramesh Kumar (IAS). Addressing the gathering, the Lt. Governor said that Amrit Kaal is the time to remove all traces of colonial mindset and create community Growth is an opportunity for our clubs to promote and inspire social change.
He said that it is time for all to introspect, as rights and duties are two sides of the same coin. He said that wherever required, we should pay for the services so that UT J&K moves fast on the path of development.Earlier Ramesh Kumar (Vice President Jammu Club) spoke about the achievements of the club. ADGP Jammu Mukesh Singh was the special guest on the occasion. Along with this, DIG Jammu Samba Range Shakti Pathak, DC Jammu Avni Lavasa and Commissioner JMC Rahul Yadav were also present.
Secretary Gaurav Gupta said in his address that Chief Guest LG Manoj Sinha and other guests have graced the occasion by coming here. He added, “We are working under the leadership of our Vice President Ramesh Kumar ji to make this club the best place to dine and spend quality time with all modern facilities under one roof.
He informed that the work of Yoga Aerobic Center and Guest House in the Health Club is in progress and very soon these facilities will be added to the Jammu Club. He thanked all the guests wholeheartedly for attending the event. On this occasion Management Committee members Engineer Ashok Gandotra, Engineer Ashok Sharma, Engineer Ajay Sabharwal, Engineer Vikram Sharma, Ashwini Gupta, Engineer Sumeet Puri, Dr. Uttam Singh, Aditya Gupta, Ekta Gupta, Indu Puri, Kavita Gupta, Engineer Tania Mahajan and Dr. Sandeep Singh and former secretary KK Khosa, Eng. Raman Samanotra, Engg. Vinod Sharma and others. Kiran Wattal was also present.
