Jammu: Smuggler was carrying drugs in VIP vehicle, police chased and caught him, drugs recovered

It is reported that breaking the back of the drug mafia gang, Miran Sahib police nabbed another smuggler today and recovered 14 grams of drugs from him.
According to sources, this smuggler was caught in Miran Sahib area when he was coming from Miran Sahib area towards Satwari Chowk in a Mercedes. The police personnel tried hard to stop him but he escaped from there dodging the police. Seeing this, the police personnel swung into action and chased him for several kilometers and not only nabbed him but also showed him the way to the bars.
The accused has been identified as Gurmeet Singh s/o Chandra Singh. Who is said to be a resident of Trikuta Nagar area of Jammu itself. The vehicle number of the accused has been mentioned as CAH01AV 6868. It is reported that the police have recovered about 14 grams of drugs during the investigation of this accused. After which the police have taken the accused into custody and registered a case against him under the NDPS Act, and have also started further investigation.
