According to sources, this incident is of Narwal Bypass Street, where thieves targeted an eco van that dropped children to school last night.
In this regard, the owner of the van, Shammi Sharma told that the incident took place around 7 am. When he reached his car in the morning, the car was not there. At first they thought that someone had played a prank on them but when the victim Shammi Sharma saw the footage of the CCTV camera installed at the adjacent shop, they saw the thief stealing the car. Talking to the media, he told that the thief had committed his crime at around 5 in the morning. Seeing him in the footage, it seemed that he had already made a plan to steal the vehicle. He said that it can be clearly seen in the video how the thief started the car and ran away on seeing it.
The victim told that this eco van was his only source of earning, and he had not even got the vehicle insured yet. He told that he has been trying to find the car for three days but no solution has come out. Due to this matter, he has also complained about this in Narwal police station, but till now no clue of the vehicle has been found.
