According to the information received by the sources, in the women’s police station of Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir, a head constable was caught red-handed by the CBI while taking bribe. After which the CBI team took the accused head constable into custody for questioning.
It is reported that the accused head constable died in CBI custody in the past. The accused has been identified as Mushtaq Ahmed, a native of Malhar and was currently living at Dadwara in Billawar.
It is being told that the health of the accused Mushtaq Ahmed had deteriorated during the CBI investigation. After which he was taken to GMC Hospital Kathua for treatment. Where he died around 8 o’clock in the late night. The reason behind the death is said to be heart attack. It is alleged that Mushtaq Ahmed demanded a bribe of Rs 25,000. Due to which he was taken into custody by the CBI. It is reported that a magisterial inquiry is now being demanded for this incident. In such a situation, it will have to be seen that now what solution emerges in this matter.
