JAMMU: (Azadi Times – Newspaper) a painful road accident has happened in the Doda district of the Jammu division. In the Assar area of the district, an Alto car went uncontrolled and fell into a ditch about 150 feet.
There is information about the death of two people. A woman died on the spot, while her husband succumbed to his injuries at the hospital during treatment. According to information, an Alto car going from Thathri to Jammu met with an accident in the Assar area of Doda.
Tehsil Supply Officer (TSO) of the FCS department Mangat Ram Thakur and his wife were traveling in the car, the police officer said. It is being told that his wife died on the spot. As soon as the accident was known, the people and the police team reached the spot. Injured TSO Mangat Ram was rushed to GMC Doda, but could not be saved. TSO Mangat Ram was posted at Bhalessa. Due to the death of the officer and his wife, there has been a wave of mourning in Bhallesa Tehsil and his department.
