JAMMU: (Azadi Times) Haj pilgrims of Jammu and Kashmir used to provide Saudi Riyal to the pilgrims going to Haj every year. But according to the latest information, this year i.e. in 2023, the practice of giving Sudi Riyal to the pilgrims going for Haj has been abolished.
According to the information received from the sources, the committee officials of Jammu and Kashmir have informed that now the expenses are increasing day by day in Saudi Arabia, due to which now the pilgrims going on the Haj pilgrimage are not being provided by the committee as before. The practice of giving 2100 Saudi Riyals has been abolished. That is, now Saudi Riyals will not be given to the pilgrims willing to go to Saudi Arabia (Haj). That’s why now the pilgrims will have to get the foreign currency exchanged accordingly for going on Haj.
