Police said they had received information from their sources that two self-styled political workers from Pattan area were demanding money from people on the assurance that they would give them government jobs. Due to this, he was giving fake appointment letters to the people. Not only this, apart from this, he was also threatening the general public. In such a situation, as soon as this information was received by the police, the police swung into action and registered a case in the police station under relevant sections of the law. After this, the police swung into action and detained two people. The names of the accused are being told as Ubaid Nazir Sofi and Mohammad Iqbal.

During the police proceedings, the accused told that he used to extort huge money from the general public on the pretext of giving them jobs in the police. When the victims demanded their money back, the accused started threatening them. At present, both these accused are in the custody of the police and their further interrogation is going on.
