Apart from Patnitop, Sanasar, Pancheri, Rajori, Bhaderwah in Jammu division, Srinagar, Gulmarg, Pahalgam, Kulgam, Kupwara, Ganderbal etc. received snowfall in Kashmir.
According to the information, traffic on the highway was closed due to landslides at several places in Ramban and Banihal sections of the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway due to rain and snowfall. Along with this, according to the Meteorological Center Srinagar, there may be rain and snowfall at many places in the next 24 hours. However, warnings of heavy rain and snowfall have also been issued on January 23 and 24. In Srinagar, the day’s maximum temperature was recorded at 4.3 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature was minus 0.1 degree Celsius on Friday. Jammu recorded a maximum temperature of 12.2 degree Celsius and a minimum temperature of 8.7 degree Celsius.
