According to the information, the big political faces of Jammu and Kashmir are calling this tax a burden imposed on the general public. Commenting on this on Monday, Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha said that it is the lowest in the country and does not burden the common man. Along with this, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said on the controversy arising out of the imposition of property tax in Jammu and Kashmir that I want to say once more that the Jammu and Kashmir administration believes in dialogue. At the same time, we try to ensure that the common man does not face any problem. According to the information, the tax imposed by the administration is not a burden on the public, but to improve the future. Along with this, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said on Monday that I want to tell the residents of Jammu and Kashmir that we have imposed the lowest property tax in the country. There are a total of 5.20 lakh houses in the cities, out of which 2.06 thousand houses are less than one thousand square feet. Means no tax on 40%. There are about two lakh houses which are from 1500 square feet.
