Along with this, Qazigund, the gateway to the Kashmir Valley, recorded a minimum temperature of minus 0.4 degrees Celsius, officials said.
With this, Kokernag in south Kashmir recorded a minimum temperature of minus 0.6 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature in Kupwara was minus 1.7 degrees.
However, the minimum temperature in Gulmarg was minus 10.4 degrees Celsius, down from minus 4.6 degrees Celsius the previous night. In the resort town of north Kashmir, the mercury did not rise above minus one for more than 36 hours.
According to the information, the minimum temperature here was recorded minus 2.8 degree Celsius on Wednesday. Pahalgam recorded a minimum temperature of minus 2.4 degrees Celsius.
