Also, it is said that a private hospital in Kashmir has shown 200 ENT surgeries under Ayushman card, while more than 400 such surgeries have been done in the entire state. Let us tell you that the State Anti Fraud Unit has increased its activity to increase the monitoring of the activities of such hospitals. Along with this, Bhupendra Kumar, Secretary, Health and Medical Education Department, while reviewing the implementation of the health scheme, said that fraud is being made zero tolerance under this insurance scheme. He has directed the Director Health Jammu and Kashmir to increase surveillance on laboratories in his jurisdiction. Beneficiary feedback system, beneficiary audit, table top audit exercise and activities under the State Anti Fraud Unit have been asked to improve reporting, analysis under the scheme. Chief Executive Officer (CEO) State Health Agency (SHA) Sanjeev Gadkar said that under the health scheme, more than 98 percent families of Jammu and Kashmir have one Ayushman card each. More than 83 percent of the beneficiaries have received Ayushman cards. During the current policy period, more than three lakh treatments have been done under this scheme and an amount of Rs 430 crore has been released to the hospitals for insurance claims.
