For your information, let us tell you that the life is affected due to bad weather in Jammu and Kashmir. Along with this, the effect of severe cold in North India is also visible in the state. Dense fog and clouds continued to affect traffic in the plains of Jammu division on Wednesday. Along with this, its effect is also visible on air services. Rail service is continuously affected due to fog. According to the information, many trains are arriving late by hours every day. Vehicles are crawling on the roads due to low visibility due to fog in the plains. According to the Meteorological Center Srinagar, due to the active Western Disturbance for the next 48 hours from Wednesday, there are chances of rain and snowfall in some areas of Jammu and Kashmir division. In this, the weather can be worse in some places. Jammu started the day on Wednesday with dense fog. Light rain followed by gusty winds lashed Jammu as the day progressed. Here the visibility was reduced to 25 meters in the morning. Vehicular movement is being affected due to low light. On Tuesday, the day temperature in Jammu settled at 14.0, a drop of 4.1 notches from normal, and the minimum temperature settled at 6.6 degrees Celsius, marginally below normal. The minimum temperature was 0.8 in Banihal, 4.2 in Batote, 7.6 in Katra and 3.0 in Bhaderwah. Cloudy with dense fog in many parts of Kashmir.
