Muzaffarabad: The Prime Minister of the Independent Government of Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi has said that Rs 500 billion has been earmarked for tourism, communication, highways, construction of tunnels, public health, IT, agriculture, forestry and the Line of Control in Azad Kashmir:
The special package has been decided in principle. The Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan will announce himself. We will ensure Azad Kashmir is corruption free and without any allocation. According to the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan, a new era of development and prosperity will begin in Azad Kashmir.
With the holding of local body elections in Azad Kashmir, power will be transferred to the lower level and the development of the state and the people will be prosperous. Media is the fourth pillar of the state. It will build rest houses and colonies for journalists. The government has prepared long-term, mid-term and short-term plans to implement its manifesto.
This movement is the base camp of Azad Kashmir. As a base camp, we have these responsibilities. The construction and development of Azad Kashmir, the welfare of the people and the Kashmir Independence Movement are among our priorities.
These views were expressed by Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi while talking to newspaper owners and senior journalists on Friday. The Prime Minister said that the process of non-allocation of accountability is being initiated in Azad Kashmir. Only when a society free from corruption is established will this nation develop. They have come with the mission of building and developing Azad Kashmir, providing basic amenities to the people towards economic self-sufficiency of the state and eradicating corruption from the state.
The Kashmir Independence Movement is our first priority. He said that the PTI government in Azad Kashmir and the Prime Minister of Pakistan is a reflection of the vision, the Prime Minister of Pakistan has brought the spirit of service to the people of the state. We will complete the mission of welfare and development of the people. Replying to a question, the Prime Minister said that holding of local body elections would transfer power to the lower level and would bring development and prosperity to the people of the state. “I salute the Pakistan Army for making sacrifices on the Line of Control,” he said.
He said that positive journalism should be promoted and he hoped that the positive policies of the government and development and prosperity works would reach the people and play their full role for the independence movement of Kashmir.
Has begun a series of special weeks to celebrate. The Prime Minister said that special weeks would be observed for the development of tourism sector, elimination of encroachments and provision of facilities to the people of the Line of Control (LoC).
He said that vocational education was being promoted in Azad Kashmir to end unemployment, under the auspices of Toyota, technical education would be imparted to the youth and Rs. 1 billion would be allocated for it. The people of Azad Kashmir would soon see positive change.
