A quarterly planning and review meeting of community focal persons from various union councils of Jhelum Valley was organized by Pakistan Red Crescent Society District Jhelum Valley at the district office of the organization Hatian Bala. The Assistant briefed the participants on the historical background of the Red Cross, the Red Crescent Movement and the dangers and safe attitudes at the local level and provided details to the participants while the plan for the future was finalized in collaboration with community focal persons. . Community Focal Persons from different areas informed the community about the various threats and issues facing the community from their respective areas and gave their suggestions for the improvement of the program and making the program more beneficial to the people. Apart from the Red Crescent staff, 20 members from various union councils and media representatives also participated in the meeting. Their solutions were discussed and integrated plans were formulated.
