Muzaffarabad (Azadi Times – Muzaffrabad Latest News) The Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan has said that after the coming of the federal government, the Azad Kashmir government is suffering from serious problems. 


According to the 2018 fiscal agreement, the share of Azad Kashmir is 3.6 percent of the total revenue revenue determined by the federal government, which is calculated to be 225 billion rupees, while Azad Kashmir from the current federal government The variable grant allocated for the is 74.32 billion rupees, out of which 59.5 billion has been given while 15.02 billion is still due. Azad Kashmir government has also been put under the responsibility of the government, which is a complete abuse, which cannot be accepted in any way, they cannot leave the people of Azad Kashmir helpless and helpless, they will ensure the protection of public interests in every way. 


He expressed these views while addressing a function organized in the Prime Minister’s House here yesterday. The Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir said that the cut on the development and non-development budget by the federal government has frozen the development process in Azad Kashmir. Due to the cut in the budget, it became difficult to pay the salaries of the employees and the pension of the pensioners. The projects initiated by the federal government in Azad Kashmir have also been made part of the annual development program of the Azad Kashmir government. The funds of Keil Road are also delayed. After the strike of the employees, the Azad Kashmir government issued a notification to increase the salaries from its own resources. Due to the pressure on the development and non-development budget, the Azad Kashmir government is facing difficulties in running the system. 


He said that as soon as the government changed in Islamabad, the allocated funds for Azad Kashmir became a mystery. The development budget of Azad Kashmir is 100% the responsibility of the government of Pakistan. 


The burden of the promised projects has also been put on the budget of the Government of Azad Kashmir, including the construction of the Azad Kashmir Legislative Assembly building, the construction of the Rathoa Hariyam Bridge and the construction of the Keel Road in the Neelum Valley, the most important projects of a very sensitive nature. has also cut about 15 billion rupees on the non-developmental budget of Azad Kashmir, which is causing anxiety in Azad Kashmir.


Even for the increase in the salaries of the employees in Azad Kashmir, the federal government has not yet paid any payment to the Azad Kashmir government. Azad Kashmir has issued a notification of 15% increase in the salaries of employees from its own resources and started implementing it from July 1. Similarly, issues like payment of pensioners, subsidy on flour, fuel adjustment in electricity bills have become a mystery. It is a cause of mental agony for the people of Azad Kashmir. 

Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan further said that the leaders of the federal government sitting in Islamabad do not understand the sensitivity and geographical position of Azad Kashmir. It is being assumed that Tehreek-e-Insaaf is here There is a government.
