Kashmiri Soldiers in Pakistan Army Martyred in Anti-Terror Operation in Khyber

Bagh: Three Kashmir soldiers from Pakistan administered Jammu Kashmir in Pakistani Army lost their lives in a recent anti-terrorism operation in the Khyber district of KPK province of Pakistan.

According to a statement released by the Pakistan army Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the casualties occurred during a confrontation with militants in the region.

The operation, aimed at rooting out terrorists from the area, also resulted in the elimination of seven terrorists, as confirmed by the Pakistan Army.

Among the fallen soldiers were Naik Muhammad Ashfaq Butt from Kohuta, Azad Kashmir, Lance Naik Syed Danish Afkar from Poonch (AJK) district, Sepoy Taimur Malik from Layyah district, Sepoy Nadir Saghir from Bagh, Azad Kashmir district, and Sepoy Muhammad Yaseen from Kohat district.

The ISPR further reported that during the operation, conducted in Tank district, ten more militants were neutralized in a firefight with security forces.

A significant cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was also recovered from the possession of the terrorists.

Highlighting the ongoing threat posed by terrorists in the region, the ISPR emphasized that security forces, including innocent civilians, have been targeted in multiple acts of terrorism.

The Pakistan Army reiterated its commitment to eradicating terrorism from the area, stating that operations to cleanse the region of terrorists are ongoing.

This unfortunate incident follows another recent clash in Hasan Khel area of Peshawar, where Captain Hussain Jahangir and Subedar Shafiqullah Jan, both from Rahim Yar Khan district and Kotli district respectively, sacrificed their lives in the line of duty. Additionally, five terrorists were also eliminated during the operation.

It is imperative to recognize the bravery and sacrifice of these soldiers who laid down their lives in the fight against terrorism.

Their dedication and valor serve as a testament to the unwavering resolve of the Pakistani Armed Forces in safeguarding the nation against all threats.
