Bank of Azad Jammu and Kashmir’s deposits crossed Rs 22 billion

MUZAFFARBAD –  (NEWS DESK) Bank of Azad Jammu and Kashmir’s deposits have reached about 22 billion rupees, which is the highest in the history of the AJK bank

AZADI TIMES – The bank also achieved other business targets including profit, assets and remittances. 

While presiding over a business meeting held at the head office yesterday, Mr. Khawar Saeed, President and Chief Executive Officer of the bank, said that the total deposits in 2019 were 11 billion rupees, which increased to 13.7 billion rupees in 2020, and further increased to 17.270 billion rupees in 2021, 7.21 billion which is a record. 

The bank also achieved other business targets including profit, assets and remittances. 

Chairman, Mr. Abdul Majid Khan, who is also the State Minister for Finance, the guidance of the management and staff day and night, sincere hard work and dedication, the bank’s team work, the business goals were achieved with the support of the customers. 

The increase in deposits is an expression of the full confidence of the customers in the bank. The bank is also taking steps to achieve the business goals of the year 2022.
