Under the August fuel price adjustment, electricity is expected to be cheaper by Rs 4 21 paisa per unit for consumers in Karachi.
In the application submitted by KElectric to Nepra, it has been proposed to reduce the fuel charges by Rs 4 21 paise per unit through the August fuel charges adjustment, the authority will decide after hearing the application on September 29.
In case of complete approval of the application, K Electric customers will be able to get a relief of 7 billion 21 crore rupees.
