Former Assembly candidate Jhelum Valley Constituency 7 Shaukat Javed misused the name of the newly elected members of District Council from Constituency Six, Raja Parvez Iqbal Advocate and Sajid Hamdani expressed their disapproval of the application made to the Election Commission, Ashfaq Zafar too. According to the details, the former assembly candidate Shaukat Javed, without consultation, used the name of the members of District Council, Raja Parvez Iqbal Advocate and Syed Sajid Hamdani, who were elected from the Jhelum Valley District Constituency, one given to Azad Kashmir by the Election Commission. In the petition, it was decided that the swearing-in ceremony of the honorable members who were successful in the municipal elections on party basis has been decided. The proposed procedure for taking the oath to the respected members of the assembly or the judges of the court should be determined through mutual consultation so that the public mandate can be respected. Later, the Central Senior Vice President of Pakistan People’s Party Azad Kashmir, Sahibzada Muhammad Ashfaq Zafar, said in his response that the name of the members of the District Council was used without consultation. No one has given anyone the authority to decide the constituency six. It has nothing to do with the application submitted to the Election Commission. On the other hand, after the request given by Shaukat Javed, the people of the People’s Party of Constituency 6 are also deeply saddened.
