Abbas Advocate explained the objectives of the round table conference and said that Gilgit-Baltistan is a disputed region according to the resolutions of the United Nations and the Khalsa government is an important party to the Kashmir issue. In the name of state-sponsored lands being seized by force, there is a conspiracy to impose taxes, the flood victims of Nagar and the earthquake victims of Rondo are forced to live a life of destitution, and the poor people are being looted through power cuts. In order to deal with these situations, there is a need to be organized and mobilized without distinction, color, race, and sect.
The leader of Public Action Committee Baltistan, Fida Hussain Isar, while addressing the round table conference, said that today our lands are occupied by force. Behind-the-scenes preparations are being made to convert the local population into a minority when we are not a part of any state and this Gilgit-Baltistan is a disputed region, why are taxes being imposed? will struggle unitedly against the occupation of lands. Addressing the conference, the Chairman of Astor Supreme Council, Dr. Abbas said that the only one of all the problems. The Central Chairman of Karakoram National Movement, Mumtaz Hussain Nagri Advocate, while addressing the conference, thanked all the participants of the conference and former chairman Muhammad Javed presented a declaration that was jointly endorsed:
1 Independent Constituent Assembly should also be established in Gilgit-Baltistan
2. It was demanded to restore the historic roads of Skardu Kargil Astor Srinagar and Muzaffarabad roads.
3 Violation of the state-subject rule should be stopped in Gilgit-Baltistan and state subject rule should be restored.
4 In Gilgit-Baltistan, the imposition of tax on poor people through the Revenue Act was rejected
5 Load-shedding should be eliminated Rejecting the exorbitant increase in electricity bills, it was demanded that electricity should be provided at normal rates.
6. Strongly condemning the occupation of the lands of Gilgit-Baltistan in the name of Khalsa Sarkar, it was demanded that there is no Khalsa Sarkar land in Gilgit-Baltistan.
7 Strongly condemn the forceful seizure of Manawar lands by the Assistant Commissioner in recent days, support the resistance of Manawar youth and demand the immediate withdrawal of the FIR against the youth.
8 Steps should be taken immediately for the rehabilitation of Rondo earthquake victims and Nagar flood victims.
