High level meeting chaired by Prime Minister
In the meeting, the prime minister was informed about the progress made by the federal government regarding the electricity tariff.
Instruction not to put additional burden on consumers. Government will bear the burden of consumers. Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas.

Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan presided over a high-level meeting at Jammu and Kashmir House Islamabad. Chief Secretary Mohammad Usman Chachar, Principal Secretary/Additional Chief Secretary Development Fayyaz Ali Abbasi, Secretary Electronics Chaudhry Tayyab, Secretary Law were present in the meeting. Parliamentary Affairs Irshad Qureshi, Information Secretary Ansar Yaqub, Special Secretary Finance Rashid Hanif participated. Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan was given a detailed briefing on electricity issues by Secretary Electronics Chaudhry Tayyab. Also informed about the progress with the government. Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan directed that in the ongoing discussions with the federal government regarding electricity transmission and tariffs, special attention should be paid to the consumers. There should not be any additional burden. He said that the government will bear the burden in this regard but it will not be transferred to the consumers.
