LG elections must be held before October 15, Press conference of Chief Election Commissioner of Azad Kashmir

MUZAFFARABAD – Joint press conference of Muzaffarabad Chief Election Commissioner Justice (Retd) Abdul Rasheed Salharia, members Farhat Ali Mir, Farooq Niaz, on the order of Muzaffarabad Supreme Court, arrangements are being finalized to fulfill the constitutional obligation.

Farhat Ali Mir Muzaffarabad local government elections are going to be held after 31 years. Member Election Commission Farhat Ali Mir Muzaffarabad Municipal elections in Azad Kashmir will be on party basis. 

According to the Muzaffarabad court order, elections will be held in the same day across the state for the Muzaffarabad Union Council, the population standard is 10 to 15 thousand.
