Rawalakot: (Azadi Times – Newspaper) A free medical VI camp was organized by Pakistan Army and Al-Shifa Trust at Kumora Ghmir in the Rawalakot district of Azad Kashmir. In the free medical camp, doctors checked up on the patients and distributed free medicines.
The camp set up at Kumora Ghmir started at 8 am and continued till late evening. A large number of patients had their check-ups at the free medical camp where the doctors and paramedical staff rendered their services in a most compassionate manner. Eye patients were also examined in the camp along with other diseases.
Free spectacles were also provided to the patients. Patients required for the operation were also referred to Al-Shifa Eye Hospital. A total of 1020 patients were checked in the medical camp. In 191 men, 441 women, 388 children, and 64 dental patients were examined. While a total of 314 patients were checked up in I camp.
The number of men included 150 and 164 women. 45 patients were admitted and 60 patients were also referred. The people of the area appreciated the initiative of the Pakistan Army and Al Shifa Trust to set up a free medical camp.
