Rawalakot – (Azadi Time August 11, 2022 by Bashir Saduzai) Rawalakot is a beautiful and healthy place in Azad Kashmir which is now turning into a big city.
It is the headquarter of the division consisting of four districts of Poonch, Bagh, Sidhnuti and Haveli. Located at an altitude of 1600 meters above sea level, the valley of Rawalakot becomes full of color and fragrance in spring this city is becoming very attractive for tourists.
Apart from tourist houses, there are also many good hotels so accommodation is not a problem for tourists. Kahuta, Azad Patan can be reached in maximum three hours from Islamabad. The city surrounded by green hills.
Banjonsa Lake, a beautiful and healthy and famous tourist place, is 20 km away from this city. The Rawalakot weather is not very hot in summer, but rawalakot weather turn into very cold and snowy in winter. Rawalakot is located in the center of Azad Kashmir.
To reach Muzaffarabad one has to cross another beautiful and beautiful goddess Sidhan Street. Which is located at the foot of Ganga Peak (Ganga Choti) in Pir Paijal range.
Almost all companies have mobile phone and internet facility in Rawalakot. But the internet service needs to be improved. Rawalakot has a large university, a medical college, a college of engineering and technology, separate post-graduate colleges for male and female students and a large number of other educational institutions.
