Syed Faiz Hussain Naqshbandi, former convenor of the All-Party Hurriyat Conference, met with the Prime Minister of the Independent Government of Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan in Islamabad. In the meeting, he discussed the atrocities committed by the Indian forces in occupied Kashmir, human rights violations. The current situation of Occupied Kashmir including violations was discussed in detail. Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan appointed Syed Faiz Hussain Naqshbandi, former convenor of the All-Party Hurriyat Conference, as his honorary special assistant for the Freedom Movement. Speaking on the occasion, the Prime Minister said that the story of persecution in occupied Jammu and Kashmir is not only heartbreaking. It is appalling but also a blatant violation of the human rights established by the United Nations. Atrocities inflicted on Kashmiris by India have crossed the limits of tolerance. Children, old, young, men and women, no one could escape from Indian aggression. He said that the biggest claimant of democracy and self-proclaimed pioneers and those who make artificial noise about the importance of human rights should also think that Kashmiri people. Where is the justice of depriving them of their right to self-determination, freedom of expression and the provision of basic rights and establishing their dominance by force? has occupied the land of by military force and has enshrined their right to self-determination. He said that we will also call a special session of the Legislative Assembly of Azad Jammu and Kashmir in which the representatives of the All-Party Hurriyat Conference will also be called. The agenda of the day will be Kashmir only and a special resolution will be passed in this regard. He said that OIC needs to be mobilized regarding Kashmir and the Muslim Ummah should unite and raise their voice for Kashmiris. He said that Western countries, especially countries with veto power, need to speed up diplomacy on Kashmir so that The pressure on India can be increased. He further said that the Kashmiri people who have been fighting for their freedom for a long time and through peaceful protests are making the world aware of the Indian aggression and the struggle for their freedom. In any case, they cannot give up their right to freedom. The Indian government has not only established an illegal rule over Kashmir, but has also started a plan to change the social status of Occupied Kashmir through Hindu settlement. He said that instead of giving Kashmiris the right to self-determination, India has been faking elections and puppet governments to legitimize its occupation. What is it?
