Provides timely and accurate weather forecasts for years of training. Many times it was observed that their predictions proved to be more accurate than the predictions made by the concerned department.
Faizan Arif King, a 21-year-old from Nawa Kadal, Srinagar, has been fascinated with climate change, such as rain, thunder and lightning, since he was a child, and has always wanted to know the motives behind these changes.
With the passage of time, this passion has become the reason for him to become a meteorologist. Many senior political leaders and journalists like former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah follow Kashmir Weather on his Instagram account to know the meteorologist’s weather forecast.
Talking about his hobby and travel, he told UNI that he had been interested in climate change since he was a child. He said: ‘I was very young, I studied at LKG or UKG and since then I have been interested in climate change, whenever it rained I would sit at the window and watch the thunder and lightning and I used to ask my parents about it.
