District and Sessions Judge Mr. Chaudhry Munir administered the oath to the elected chairman and mayor of the district. were The oath ceremony was held in the auditorium hall of District Complex Rawalkot. It was organized by Municipal Corporation Rawalkot. Deputy Commissioner Poonch Sabir Mughal, Additional Deputy Commissioner Poonch (retd) Major Nasir Rafique, Assistant Commissioner Rawalkot Usman Saram, various district officers were present in the ceremony. Officers of departments, leaders of political parties, workers, newly elected members of District Council, Municipal Committee, Town Committees, Union Councils and journalists participated in large numbers. District Council Poonch performed. On this occasion, all the newly elected officials were congratulated. Before taking the oath, the national anthem of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir was read.
