MUZAFFARABAD: (Azadi Times) United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization Representative Dr. Brian visited Livestock and Dairy Development Azad Kashmir.

Dr. Jawaria Alam Veterinary Officer FAO was also accompanied by the Department of Livestock Services, Laboratory Services. , Research and Disease Diagnosis Surveillance System and Reporting, meeting, and session were held in the system of higher livestock.

 

Director of Livestock Dr. Muhammad Ejaz Khan gave a briefing. Dr. Shafqat Khawaja, Director of Animal Health, Dr. Ehsanullah Mir, Director of Extension Research, Dr. Zafar Iqbal, Director of Disease Diagnostics, Dr. Muhammad Ejaz Mir, Dr. Zeeshan Anjum, Dr. Faheem Abbasi also participated in the meeting.

The Chief Livestock informed the public about the services provided including disease diagnostic reporting. Dr. Brian also gave some suggestions.

 

In the central laboratory, Dr. Zafar Iqbal, Director of Disease Diagnostic Reporting, and Dr. Faheem Abbasi gave a full briefing.

The services provided in the laboratory and the various tests that were available were inspected. Apart from this, the Livestock Development Research Center Rao was visited by the Chief Livestock Inspector. Dr. Brian visited the whole farm with keen interest and got detailed knowledge about the bread being prepared by Anhamak.

 

Finally went to the field in Dumishi and met the farmers to see the animals and get information about vaccination and livestock services.

Dr. Brian told the Director General Livestock that your department is providing the best services in the available resources and there is vast potential for livestock in this beautiful region. Further steps will be taken for the improvement of this department in collaboration with the department.
