New Delhi: March 26 (Azadi Times) Indian police are investigating a threat to take down the Indian flag and hoist the Khalistani flag in its place at the venue of the G20 high-level meeting in Delhi in September.
The investigation has been initiated after receiving a tip-off from the Ministry of Defense which received an audio recording from an unknown number two days ago.
The audio message said that the supporters of Sikh preacher Amrit Pal Singh would occupy Pragati Maidan and flag India. Will take it down.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah are also abused in the audio. Police have registered an FIR.
The audio recording was received by a passenger boarding a flight from Delhi airport.
Police said they are trying to nab Sikh preacher Amrit Pal Singh, who is on the run since last week and trace the origin of the audio clip.
